In our first blogpost of 2020 we explored whether the market was at its peak, concluded that it was very close to it, and 2 months later we saw the sharpest correction ever in financial markets. This episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, featuring Nicholas Christakis was an excellent back and forth about the pandemic, the right approach to solving it, the myths and facts. It got us thinking a lot about consumption in a post-pandemic world and how we could see a roaring 2020s.
When looking at funds to invest in, we entirely focus on funds with discretionary strategies, and we’ve written publicly about what we look for. However this paper by the Man Institute shows you how to pick quant funds, its a fascinating read.
