Inaugural Quarter: We launched our Managed Solution on 1st July 2021. The solution invests in a limited number of assets using a bottom-up approach, with the goal of providing our clients with outperforming returns over the medium and long-term. Farrer Fun Fact
Winning the podcast race? Apple podcasts still holds a commanding lead globally on share of downloads of podcasts. However with their growth almost stagnant, other platforms are rapidly gaining share. Further, most of Apple’s share comes from the US where the iPhone is the dominant device. Apple’s share is far less dominant (or non-existent) in the rest of the world, where the Android phone reigns supreme. (Source - check it out for other great insights into global podcast growth).

We’ve written several times about how a global population implosion problem is looming, most recently in this blog post. The No Mercy/No Malice blog hinted at some “romantic” reasons causing this declining birth rate in the West… as Elon Musk said “Possibly the single greatest risk to human civilization is the rapidly diminishing birth rate … No babies, no humanity.”
This was an awesome thread about the genius of Ajit Jain, the man who leads Berkshire Hathaway’s insurance operations.
